To subscribe online to the Canadian Scuba Diving insurance program offered by BFL CANADA Risk and Insurance Services Inc., you must absolutely be an active member as a scuba diver instructor of a recognized instructor certification agency.

Important Exclusions

  • Dive resorts / Tour operators
  • No children under 6 years of age
  • All claims related to sexual abuse or Molestation
  • All claims related to communicable disease (example: COVID-19)
  • Cyber exclusions
  • Drug & alcohol (when under the influence)
  • Caribbean, Latin America operations

Property – Contents, Office Equipment, Stock, Third Party Property

With available options of:

  • $100,000
  • $250,000
  • $500,000
*The insurance period ends on June 30, 2023

Professional Liability

  • $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate
  • Deductible - $1,000 per occurrence
  • Excess limits available
  • Includes General Liability
  • Covers all PADI Programs, including Tec, Freediving, and Mermaid
  • Minimum ages for participation as allowed per PADI Standards

Commercial General Liability

  • $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate
  • Deductible - $1,000 per occurrence PD only
  • Excess limit up to $5M for facility only
  • Group Professional Liability and Boat policies available
  • Building and Contents coverage available
*ALL CLAIMS AND SUITS MUST BE FILED IN CANADA TO INSURE COVERAGE
